To serve as a Mississippi Baptist Student Missionary, you must complete the following application steps by the indicated deadlines.

Complete the online application. Print Instructions for On-Line Application.

References will be submitted online. You will enter the names and e-mail addresses of your references in the application and they will be sent an e-mail asking them to fill out the reference form. Your application will not be complete until all four references have been submitted online. Deadline for completed applications and references: December 5, 2011.

Participate in a local interview with your BSU or church. See your BSU director or church minister for dates of interviews. At the interview, you will be asked to complete a Background Check release form and to have a photo taken. You will also be asked to complete a Lifestyle Questions form. Your BSU director or church minister will submit all of these materials,along with a local interview form to the state office. You will not be invited to state interviews until all of these materials are received.
In 2012 ALL students will be required to attend state interviews in Clinton, including ALL North America and International applicants. Interviews will be January 27 & 27, 2012. You will receive your interview day and time in early January 2012.
All of the above steps must be complete and all application materials submitted on-line prior to December 5, 2011. After your application file is complete, it will be reviewed by the Collegiate Ministry Department and you will be invited to a state interview.
Missions Orientation and Leadership Training
ALL Mississippi Baptist Student Missionaries will be REQUIRED to attend Missions Orientation and Leadership Training Conference Friday, March 30 - Sunday, April 1, 2012.
