Qualifications for Student Missionaries

Student missionaries must meet Mississippi Baptist Student Missions qualifications to serve.
- Involved in BSU on a Mississippi campus or in a Mississippi Baptist church
- Growing Christian (involved in daily prayer and bible study; actively involved in intentional friendships with non-believers; serving in an area of ministry in local BSU or church)
- Active member of a Baptist church (students who are not members of a Baptist church can still apply, but will not receive the same level of financial assistance.)
- Good physical and emotional health
- Taken at least 1 semester of classes during the current academic year
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0) scale
- Will have completed at least 24 semester hours by the summer
- ALL students must attend state interviews January 27 or 28, 2012 in Clinton, MS. Day and time for interviewing will be assigned in early January.
- Attend Missions Orientation and Leadership Training Conference March 30 - April 1, 2012. This is REQUIRED of all Mississippi Baptist Student Missionaries.
