May 28 – July 24
Ministering to people’s basic physical, emotional, and intellectual needs opens the door for us to minister to the greatest need of all: the spiritual. We seek to be Jesus to those in need and follow His example in Matthew 25. Student missionaries will assist in the transitional housing program for homeless women and children, and in human trafficking ministries. You will have opportunities to participate in outreach programs for the homeless such as giving out snack packs, hygiene kits, first aid kits, and clothing. Depending on your strengths, you will have opportunities to minister to others at the center through leading Bible Studies, literacy training, participating in our pottery ministry, teaching Adult Basic Education, computer skills, job readiness skills, life skills, and Christian Women’s Job Corp. You will share Jesus through word and deed. You will be encouraged to open your eyes, see all that is around you, reach out and make a difference!
